Jana has been an artist and singer-songwriter since 1970.  She has completed two books of songs and art entitled "The Opposites I and II".  It is an unique work in that the CDs have art books to accompany them.  I t is music of the soul and comes from the workings of the psyche itself.  Her music is dream music and is meant to be spiritually healing.

 Jana has performed in coffeehouses and cafes all over the west coast.  She sings and plays guitar ballad-style and is accompanied by lead guitar, harmonica, trumpet, keyboard, Celtic fiddle and drums.  Her music is personal but deeply touching.

 She started writing songs and creating artwork froms her dreams while majoring in Symbolic Processes and Jungian Psychology and Antioch West in 1976.

  Much of her music now focuses on issues of being an older woman.  "A crone or wise woman of the culture".  It also focuses on female spirituality and a concern for balance, union and healing on all levels.

 Her work includes issues of transformation, rites of passage, initiation, alchemy and rebirth.  She also writes love songs from her perspective as a "wise woman".
